Kirsten & Gic-Owens’ March Celebration at The Rickhouse | Durham, NC

Kirsten and Gic-Owens’ wedding day was a perfect blend of elegance and charm. The Duke University graduates’ March celebration began with a beautiful ceremony at the iconic Duke University Chapel, followed by a lively reception at The Rickhouse. Surrounded by their loved ones in their favorite college town, Kirsten and Gic-Owens created unforgettable memories that radiated both love and joy.

Duke University Chapel provided a breathtaking backdrop for their ceremony, officiated by Fr Juan José Hernández of Duke University Catholic Center. Kirsten looked stunning, thanks to the talented team at Blissful Muse, who provided their usual excellent hair and makeup services.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to The Rickhouse, which was beautifully decorated by Color Fields Farm with colorful floral arrangements. Lighting was provided by Get Lit Event Lighting and the artistic touch of chalkboard art by Rachel Writes NC added a personalized element to the decor. American Party Rental provided elegant rentals that tied the entire look together.

Entertainment was a highlight of the evening, with Willis J. Entertainment setting the perfect mood, and ZimZoom Photo Booth providing fun and memorable moments for guests. The Mad Hatter’s Cafe and Bakeshop added a sweet touch with their delicious dessert!

Rocky Top Catering served a delicious meal, while The Rickhouse’s bar service ensured that everyone enjoyed their favorite drinks and local favorite craft brews. The celebration was a true reflection of Kirsten and Gic-Owens’ love and happiness, making it a day to remember for all who attended.
